Just finished purchasing my very first firearm from this location . This is by far the best place to purchase all your firearm needs . First off The store is well stocked with nearly every size/ choice of firearm you need . Secondly and maybe the most important is the friendly knowledgeable staff . They will answer every and any question you may have and make the whole buying experience enjoyable and not rushed . Would highly recommend this place for anyone on the area . I do look forward doing business with them again .

I’ve dealt with Tom on several of my gun purchases and he was great. They have a large inventory. Recently I picked up a Canik and after one visit to the range the red dot that came with the gun fell apart. I asked at the shop what the process is to get it replaced since it was 2 weeks old. The response from the manager was “we don’t know anything about that, you’re on your own with that”. That’s not a good answer for me after buying about 5 guns from them in the last 1 1/2 year.

These guys are awesome. Knowledgeable and helpful. There are times when it’s busy but what ammo-Gun store isn't? Besides if you exercise patience with them they appreciate it. If you have No patience then you shouldn’t be purchasing a fire arm. My go to ammo shop and gun store. They walk you through your needs and questions! Keep up the good work guys! By all means, not a bad store. But they have a dumb new policy that you have to be 21 years old to buy anything in the store. I'm 41 years old, but that's not my point. At 18 years old, you're allowed to purchase pepper spray, a pocket knife, a BB gun or pellet gun, a rifle, a shotgun, and rifle and shotgun ammo. That is New York state law. I called a few other gun shops on long island and they confirmed this. So if an 18, 19, or 20 year old girl who lives in the Uniondale area wants to purchase pepper spray to protect herself, she can't buy it from coliseum guns because of their idiotic policy. So I guess coliseum guns is just deciding to make up their own policies when it's clearly not the law. Every other gun shop in NY will allow you to purchase pepper spray, a pocket knife, a BB gun, a rifle, or a shotgun at age 18. Coliseum guns is really getting ridiculous.

The staff is excellent. Highly knowledgeable and very accommodating. Huge inventory. Anyone I've dealt with in the store has been super friendly and heIpful. I delt with Tom on my recent purchase and he really went above and beyond, spending time showing me many different options and answering all my questions, which helped me make a decision I was extremely happy with! I highly recommend Coliseum Gun Traders!!

Wally is a wonderful friend as well as a very knowledgeable individual! He is very polite, professional and has a lot of my favorite items always in stock. He was able to sell me an HK MK23 when I couldn't find any else for sale anywhere, and at a fair price! Can't recommend him and the store enough.

The absolute best in selection, customer service and dedication. Staff makes me feel comfortable every time despite all the questions I always have, lol. Everyone is real nice and VERY knowledgeable. If you are lucky you may even meet “GOG” aka God of Guns who is their gunsmith and knows everything about guns. I’ve purchased 3 guns from them. One gun I purchased from Andy back in 2002 and 2 recently from Tom. I’m a customer for life.
